To Save the Nation, Elizabeth Warren Must Drop Out of the Primary and Endorse Bernie Sanders

Senator Elizabeth Warren must drop out of the Democratic primary before Super Tuesday, and endorse Bernie Sanders. If she doesn’t do that, and I don’t think she will, then it’s essential that progressives cast our Super Tuesday votes for Sanders. What’s at stake if she stays in the race? Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, the end of the ICE and kids in cages, an end to private prisons, free University education, Student Loan debt forgiveness, legal marijuana in all 50 states, limits on Wall Street and the big banks, and all of it paid for by taxing the rich and cutting the military budget. I would have gladly voted for Warren, had she won the nomination; but that is not going to happen.

The ideal thing, in my opinion, would be for Warren to join the Sanders ticket as VP; or in a top cabinet position. Their partnership has undergone some tough times in recent months, but I believe they can mend fences and join forces to create the most progressive presidency the United States has ever seen. We can join our allies in Europe in building a future of prosperity and equality, if she will only make this tough decision. I’ve written her campaign a letter urging her to drop out and endorse Sanders before Super Tuesday (which is tomorrow), and you should do the same. Here’s a link to her contact
