That same study included women who explicity said that they had never been raped or assaulted, too. Like, that was a question on the survey; but if they said No and answered Yes to certain other questions, the organizers of the study counted them as having been victims. Thus, the agency of the female respondents to define for themselves whether or not they had been victims of sexual assault was disallowed.
