Latin Americans have been deeply involved in hip hop culture from its very beginnings in New York. Wearing their hats sideways, saggy pants - who can say that these trends belong only to Black people when kids of all colors and ethnicities have been dressing and behaving like that since those styles first came into existence? What you're looking at is the culture of poor people who live in the city, and that culture has migrated into the suburbs and small towns via MTV and the Internet.
