Everyone feels pain, old boy. Like you, I was bullied as a child. I was homeless as a child, for that matter. I survived living in Los Angeles welfare apartments in the 1980s, as an effeminate little boy with an insane single Mom. There was a great deal of pain involved, both physical and emotional. Words were the least of it. People experience pain - that's life. I don't tell you what to call yourself, what to say, what to do - as far as I'm concerned, you can do and say whatever you want. I'm not sure who "you and yours" are meant to be, but I personally think you'd be a lot happier if you got over your childhood trauma. You're an adult now. Act like one.
